Rapper KTheChosen uses projection imagery and freestyle to help kids tell stories through music—creating songs inspired by images and rhymes

Program Description:

Using projection imagery and freestyle practices, KTheChosen will teach the class how to use visual art to enhance their ability to tell stories through music. Images will either inspire a new song or provide an illustration to the song being created. This collaborative workshop invites children to describe what they see and suggest rhyming words.

Recommended for Grades 3 – 9

Learning Outcome: Students will recognize how poetry and song can expand how we think and feel about what can be experienced.
